I’ve been driving big trucks for almost ten years now, excluding periods of unemployment and medical issues. I am the CEO of the company Leisure Transportation LLC, which I created 14 months ago.

The reason I’ve called this “The view from 9 feet up” is when my seat is positioned correctly, the cushion is about six feet above the road surface and my eye level is about three feet above the seat cushion. This gives me a unique view of my surroundings, if not the world.

I’ve always considered myself an outsider, whether this has anything to do with my particular situation or not is irrelevant. Not necessarily otherworldly, just different. In college, a friend said that I marched to the beat of a different drummer, but was a cool drummer.
